The second part of Astrid Lindgren’s beloved story Ronja the Robber’s Daughter is now streaming on Netflix, directed by Pontus Klänge. Part 1, directed by Lisa James Larsson, premiered on Netflix in March 2024 and is now also available for streaming on SVT Play.

Starring Kerstin Linden as Ronja, the series captures her adventures, friendships, and personal growth in a magical, untamed forest. Johan Söderqvist’s score, blending orchestral themes with Scandinavian folk music and the rich tones of medieval instruments, highlights the emotional depth of the story. “The music reflects both the wildness of Ronja’s world and her inner journey,” Söderqvist shares.
