‘Ronja’ soundtrack drops as show debuts on Netflix
The original score album featuring the music from the new fantasy adventure Netflix show, Ronja the Robber’s Daughter, based on the Astrid Lindgren childrens novel, is now available digitally on all music platforms. The album, which features nearly an hour of music, co-incides with the worldwide premiere of the first 6 episodes of the series on Netflix. Part one of the series is directed by Lisa James Larsson and stars Kerstin Linden as the title character, with supporting cast including Sverrir Gudnason, Johan Ulveson and Krista Kosonen. The novel was first made into a much beloved film version in Sweden in 1982, featuring music by Björn Isfält. Johan’s score incorporates certain elements of that original score. Part 2 of Ronja the Robber’s Daughter is set to premiere later this year.
