We are pleased to share that Johan Söderqvist has been nominated for “Årets Originalmusik” (Best Original Music) at Riagalan for his work on the Netflix series Ronja Rövardotter. The awards ceremony will take place at Södra Teatern in Stockholm on April 3, 2025.

The series, based on Astrid Lindgren’s beloved children’s story, features a score that incorporates orchestral elements, Scandinavian folk influences, and medieval instruments. Söderqvist’s music accompanies Ronja’s journey through the untamed forest.

Directed by Lisa James Larsson (Part 1) and Pontus Klänge (Part 2), Ronja Rövardotter stars Kerstin Linden as Ronja. The series is available for streaming on Netflix and SVT Play.
