New feature film ‘Six jours’ (Six Days) now in theaters

Johan Söderqvist composed the score for the French-Belgian thriller Six jours (Six Days), directed by Juan Carlos Medina. The story follows a police officer revisiting an unsolved kidnapping and murder 11 years later when a similar crime occurs days before the original case is set to close.

Known for his evocative use of melody and texture, Söderqvist’s score intensifies the film’s suspense and emotional depth, seamlessly blending orchestral and ambient elements to mirror the protagonist’s haunting journey.

The film premiered in Dunkerque, France, on December 11, 2024, and was released nationwide on January 1, 2025, with a Belgian release set for January 8, 2025. Critics have praised its atmospheric cinematography and gripping tension, likening it to Nordic Noir productions.
